Leisure Medicals

We offer comprehensive D4 driver medicals, ensuring that HGV and taxi drivers meet the necessary health standards for their licenses.

These medicals are conducted by experienced GPs who understand the specific requirements of the DVLA, providing a thorough assessment and completing the necessary paperwork efficiently. Our standard 15-minute D4 medical is priced at £70, making it an affordable option for drivers who need to renew or obtain their licenses.

Please note that Taxi drivers will need to provide a summary of their NHS medical record as stipulated by the DVLA. This can be obtained from your GP using the form linked below. With flexible appointment times and a commitment to high-quality care, our clinic ensures that drivers receive the medical clearance they need without unnecessary delays or complications.

We are also happy to offer medicals for various leisure activities, ensuring that you are fit and ready to enjoy your hobbies and interests. Whether you need a medical for scuba diving, cold water swimming, ultramarathon running or any other leisure pursuit, our experienced GPs provide thorough assessments tailored to the specific requirements of the activity. Your course or event organiser will usually provide a form for completion, please arrange to email us a copy of this before booking so we can advise on the appointment length required (e.g. if blood tests / ECG/ physical examination is required you may need a longer slot). Please note: If you are a taxi driver please arrange for your NHS GP to forward us a copy of your medical summary using the form below before booking as we will not be legally able to complete the assessment without it.

For all driver medicals please ensure you bring along :

  • The form(s) you need us to complete
  • A form of photo identification
  • A list of your current medication with dosages and frequencies
  • Any glasses or contact lenses you need to wear whilst driving. We need to test your vision with and without any correction so please come prepared to remove / replace contact lenses
  • If possible, a record of three recent blood pressure readings taken at home (for those taking blood pressure medication).
